Laura and Mike: Winter Wedding at Irondequoit Country Club

When it came time to check in with Laura and Mike a few days before their wedding, we were a little worried- the forecast called for a snowstorm, and with each passing day, the predicted weather grew more severe. Even on any ordinary day, most people would have been worried, but when we brought it up to Laura, she just talked about how excited she and Mike were to get married, to see any of the friends and family who could still make it, and to celebrate for as long as the weather would allow. For anyone planning their wedding, THIS is the attitude that will ensure that you have a fantastic wedding day! I wanted to jump up and down on the spot because it was obvious that these two were going to have the best day ever.

When January 19th rolled around, it was every bit as snowy as expected, and bitterly cold. In other words, it was an actual winter wonderland. Laura and Mike’s wedding party was totally on board with going out into the elements, and we took turns freezing together to create some of our favorite photos ever! The rest of the day was a blur of celebration and so much happiness, and we were so honored to witness all of it! Laura and Mike, thank you for being such wonderfully incredible people. We love you guys so much and wish you all the best!
