Lauren and Robert: Late Summer Wedding at the Seneca Ridge

If you’ve never been to the Seneca Ridge, let us gush at you for a moment about this PERFECT Finger Lakes wedding location. Owned by a fellow wedding photographer, the Seneca Ridge features an old brick house for getting ready, a remodeled, an open, bright ceremony location overlooking a field on the east side of Seneca Lake, a modern barn for cocktail hour, and of course, the beautiful sailcloth tent their known for - the perfect spot for a reception, with enough room to move the ceremony under cover in case of rain.

In addition to shooting a few weddings at the Seneca Ridge, some of our closest friends and relatives have been married here! We’ve both now been in two Seneca Ridge weddings as bridesmaids/groomsmen and can speak to just how smoothly this venue is run. We promise, it is NOT always as easy as the Seneca Ridge team makes it! We’ve had the privilege of staying in the house, getting ready there with a couple large wedding parties, and enjoying everything it has to offer. Anyways - Lauren and Robert’s wedding. With a stunning location and the most beautiful florals from In Bloom Florals, everything was picture perfect for this celebration. As much as we love all the details (like greenery on the tent poles and the most aesthetic lounge area AHHH!) it is really all about the people. Lauren and Robert’s crew were so fun to spend the day with, and they brought the party to the dance floor! Make sure you peep at those first dance photos, too - so much joy!
