Meghan and Jay: Highland Park Engagement (all the way from Kentucky!)

Before their engagement session, we had only ever talked to Meghan and Jay through Skype and email, since the two are planning their Canandaigua Inn on the Lake wedding all the way from KENTUCKY! We instantly knew we’d love them, with their constant laughter and laid back personalities, and meeting up for engagement photos proved us right.

Meghan’s super supportive mom, who has helped with much of the wedding planning, came along for the first few minutes of the session to serve as the dog wrangler for Sadie, Meghan and Jay’s easygoing dogchild. The two went off exploring the park while we did the same with Meghan and Jay, taking in the lilacs in their full glory and catching some awesome golden hour light. One extra perk of the evening- we LOVE when this works out- was that Meghan had her makeup trial with Caitlin Interlicchia earlier that day! She and Jay looked absolutely stunning, and we can’t wait to photograph them again on their wedding day!
